Here are our top picks:
55 wineries, 25 wine regions, 1000+ wines
Go on a journey through 130 stalls from Australia’s best food and beverage producers, set alongside the spectacular Sydney Harbour. The festival sits adjacent to Circular Quay, all the way through to The Rocks Markets, with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House as its backdrop.
Dinner in the Sky
An exciting addition to this year’s festival is the Sydney debut of the global phenomenon. Guests are invited to strap themselves in and dine high above The Rocks, at a dinner table suspended by a crane above Sydney Harbour, with unbeatable harbour and CBD views.
Interactive live art wall
Connect with your inner Banksy by contributing to interactive live street art unfolding throughout the event. Armed with buckets of paint, you can join in the fun with your very own contribution to the community wall art. By the end of the festival, a bigger picture will be revealed!
The Wine Wall competition
While you’re getting your paint on at the live art wall, be sure to enter our Wine Wall competition. Simply guess how many wine bottles are hidden in the collaborative mural and go in the draw to win an amazing prize pack including:
• $150 Endeavour Tap Rooms voucher;
• one night’s accommodation for two people at the Holiday Inn Old Sydney, including buffet breakfast.
Gourmet food stalls
Soak up your samplings with delectable goodies from some of Australia’s most exciting food producers, including Black Star Pastry, Burgers by Josh, Donut Papi and Simone Logue.
Jump feet first into it—literally. Take your shoes off and crush some grapes the old-fashioned way for a first-foot feel of wine making.
Outdoor fun and games
There’ll be outdoor activities and interactive games to keep both young and old entertained.
Colour Fields Pop Up Bar
See Sydney Harbour in a different light, with a cool drink in hand, at the MCA’s pop-up bar Colour Fields, inspired by the Pipilotti Rist exhibition.
The Rocks Markets
Stroll through to The Rocks Markets, open Saturday and Sunday from 10 am – 5pm, and browse for beautiful things made by many hands. There’s one-off jewellery, original artworks, unique homewares and oh so much more.
